A perfect escape from crazy Phnom Penh to lazy, sleepy, relaxed Kampot in the south of Cambodia. Lots of things catered to tourists and the many many expats living here but also lots of local life to explore. The city center is quite small so easily walkable and perfect to admire the remaining French Colonial style houses with a Cambodian twist.
