Berlin. Where to begin? Berlin has so many facets, so many layers of history that it is difficult to grasp. While trying to absorb everything of the city, sensory overload soon forces us to focus. Each time, more details come to life. Streets and walls depict notes and messages, always political, always connected to Berlin’s history. Berlin seems raw and unfinished, and so is its art.
Berlinische Galerie is a museum located close to the Jewish Museum showing art from Berlin. The collection includes pieces from 1800 till today and is housed in a clean, simple building.
