上海1933老场坊 // Shanghai 1933 – memories of a former slaughterhouse

Asia

Drip. Drip. Liquid stains of walls. Puddles on the floor.

Wet concrete and soaked umbrellas. A time warp. Four stories of confusing staircases and air bridges. Labyrinth. How did this function as a slaughterhouse. I imagine blood running down ducts and carcasses being dragged across the floor. Imagination running wild. This could as well be the map of a laser tag game.

Models smiling to a mob of photographers, hipster on a photoshoot. Blog material. Workers prepping for an event in the evening, polishing the ballroom in the middle of the complex. A group of cosplayers outside of Starbucks. Of course there is a Starbucks. A ballroom with concrete walls and chandeliers. Epic location.
