Blue Grotto and Dingli Cliffs – getting closer to nature in South Malta
Europe, natureSouth Malta has a lot to offer – the rugged coast has a wild beauty that is hard to miss. Walking on top of Dingli Cliffs is a very rewarding pastime. The famous Blue Grotto can only be reached via boat from Wied iż-Żurrieq, a small harbour and one of the few places in South Malta suitable for sea access. The bus stop on top of the hill offers a stunning view from above overlooking the grotto.

Europe, food, natureIt is fall again in Heidelberg and I stumbled across some photogenic veggies in the fields. Gigantic cabbage roses with some traces of the recent rain beat non-edible flowers anytime, non? With the temperature dropping rapidly (2°C this morning) the season of hearty stews and winter veggies is approaching fast. The last remains of your summer salad still remind us of a summer gone. The neatly planted rows of reds and greens seem like a well-groomed English garden. Never thought lettuce could be this elegant!
