golden hour at Jökulsarlon, the glacier lagoon – although golden hour is more like several hours because the sun does not fully set
Jökulsarlon is located in the Southeast of Iceland, south of Vatnajökull glacier. The glacier is breaking off and the big pieces of ice fall into the lagoon.
1m of the glacier is swept into the lagoon every day. in about 80 years, the glacier will be gone. the sad truth of global warming
the freshly broken off pieces are blue and get more white as they are exposed to the air
