I put Llandudno on my itinerary because I saw great reviews on tripadvisor.com, and I figured why not. When I arrived, I found it to be a really quiet, peaceful place, not many tourists, most of them solo travelers.

Apparently, it is more like a place where senior citizens spend their retirement, I found many notes on benches marking marriage anniversaries and memorials. Not at all what I expected, but I came to find some beautiful scenery, so I decided to hike up the nearby hills. It was a really chilly and windy day, but I’m so glad I made it to the top and wandered off the marked paths: There I found fields of flowers and grass moving in the wind, I found colors, I found clouds and the sea and goats and sheep, I found graves and small churches and I felt free as I stood on top the world.

PS: I did catch a bad cold up there that lasted for two months, but it was still worth every moment.
