Post-industrial urban landscape II – slinky and shoes

Allgemein, Europe

The area has made a great deal of effort to morph into a cultural hotspot. Abandoned buildings changed into clubs, restaurants, gyms, youth centers etc. Cities tried their hardest to modify the existing landscape by creating parks and cooperating with artists and architects.

That’s how Slinky springs to fame came to life, a modern, quirky colorful bridge that sparked controversy and discussion amongst residents. I personally like it a lot, it is very comfortable to walk on thanks to its rubbery floor and makes a great photo object. Perfect for strolls, casual walks or joggers, not very good for time-efficient people. You need to walk approximately four times the width of the river to cross it.
