Fishermen’s Island

Isola Madre and its lush greenery

Embarking on the ferry to Isola Bella, one of the main attractions on the Lago Maggiore. Paying a hefty entrance fee to see the Palazzo Borromeo, but probably worth it because of the grandeurs displayed inside the palace. Overladen rooms with gold piled upon gold or chic grand halls flooded with light.
