New year&#8217;s shopping starts on January 2nd and is just crazy &#8211; people line up in the cold to get to those deals. Also, lucky bags are a huge deal in Japan: a bag full of goodies that can be purchased to bring good luck.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Luckily, Ginza is not all about shopping &#8211; step away from the flagship stores to admire a architectural gem of post-war <em>Japanese Metabolis<\/em>m: The <strong>Nagakin Capsule Tower <\/strong>made out of 140 pre-fabricated capsules, each one an entity.
