Honestly speaking M\u00e1laga<\/strong> might feel a bit underwhelming after visiting other cities in Andalusia, but anyone flying in or out of this region will likely set foot into the city! Don’t get me wrong, there is still a lot of stuff to do, like climbing up to the Castillo Gibralfaro and enjoying the view it provides!<\/p>\n

Of course, M\u00e1laga has a cathedral<\/strong> that is worth visiting! La manquita<\/strong> (as it has only one arm\/tower) can be visited below and above. They sell tickets to visit the interior as well as tours that go onto the roof of the cathedral. The actual roof, not the bell tower.<\/p>\n

Alcazaba and Castillo de Gibralfaro<\/p><\/div>\n

Not one but two museums are dedicated to Picasso<\/em>, the most famous son of the city – His birthplace with his statue in front and a small art museum with some of his works.<\/p>\n

Around Christmas time, there is a light show every day at 6.30 and 9pm on the main shopping street – Calle Larios<\/strong>. Pumping music and a spectacular light show draw locals and tourists alike into one massive crowd to enjoy the lights!<\/p>\n
