Maybe I had unrealistic expectations, but Los Angeles turned out to be a city you hear so many things about and then, when you finally experience it for yourself, you think: Oh and that&#8217;s all? The <strong>Hollywood Sign<\/strong>, on the other hand, is a PR gag.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3015\" src=\"https:\/\/maponmyplate.files.wordpress.com\/2016\/04\/img_3396.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_3396\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/maponmyplate.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/img_3396.jpg 600w, https:\/\/maponmyplate.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/img_3396-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/maponmyplate.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/img_3396-270x180.jpg 270w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\"><strong>Muscle Beach<\/strong> is a hotspot for people looking for all kinds of activities. Boxing right at the beach, surfing, dancing, skating and what not. I saw a tiny white-haired lady posing with two bulky dark-skinned bodybuilders. All three of them were having the time of their life.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3016\" src=\"https:\/\/maponmyplate.files.wordpress.com\/2016\/04\/img_3414.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_3414\" width=\"400\" height=\"600\" srcset=\"https:\/\/maponmyplate.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/img_3414.jpg 400w, https:\/\/maponmyplate.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/img_3414-200x300.jpg 200w, https:\/\/maponmyplate.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/img_3414-120x180.jpg 120w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\"><strong>San Gabriel<\/strong> just outside LA is a mostly Chinese community, it truly feels like being in Shanghai with all its Chinese shopping malls and restaurants. It is free (I like) and is housed in a cool modern complex complete with a beautiful garden.
