Bordeaux

Quick piece of advice for all future Bordeaux travelers: do some research beforehand, especially if you are not going during the summer. My friend and I arrived without much preparation, turns out: the main attraction we wanted to see, the miroir d’eau, is closed till april (missed it by two weeks, damn). The guided tour, fully booked. The visit of the grand théâtre, sold out! The city hall, closed. The fountains, empty. Opening hours outside the main season are very particular and it is advised to book tours in advance. Well, there was a fun fair next to the Place de Quinconces where we ate some churros.
